    Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw slow printing

Have two of these at the same location that are very slow to print, very slow. Both machines have the latest firmware and even reinstalled the Full version just to make sure. When printing you can see it hit the Que and says it is printing and then complete and nothing ever prints out for maybe about 30 minutes or more or not at all? They are on a network and not shared as the install was to each computer and they printed OK for a long time and now all of a sudden they now print slow. It does not matter where they print from, server or desktop? Thinking it must be a network issue. They are setup by IP and are using the KX drivers. All toners are above 75%. Any help appreciated. Thanks

    Print Spooler problem, maybe?

There are a few ways to do this, but the easiest is probably from the Command Prompt. Open the Start menu, search for "Command Prompt," right-click the option that appears, and choose Run As Administrator.

Then paste in the following commands, pressing Enter after each one:
    net stop spooler
    del %systemroot%\System32\spool\PRINTERS\* /Q /F /S
    net start spooler

With any luck, this will bring your printer back to life and you'll get the document you've been waiting for.

PS - When I have this problem, I always do a continuous ping to the copier just to rule out any network issue.

        Check the printing port
Should be Tcp/IP address of the printer
        Port 9100 raw.
        Uncheck snmp

        Change PDL to Pcl5

Also unplug network cable and ping the printer it should get no reply or the address of the PC if you get a reply from the printer address unplug you have another device using the same IP address

One other thing you can check empty the recycling bin had a customer had 4 gigs in bin that slowed printing

        Good luck

You could also uninstall the current print driver and download the lastest version and install

Yea I thought of that too. Restarted and no change. The printers are not shared from the server or any computer. But I tried it first thing?

          Thanks

In that case, I'm with you. It's sounding like a network issue. Did you do a continuous ping to the printer?

              Nope not a network issue

Unless you have a duplicate ipaddress and I won't say that is a network issue.

IP scanner does not show a address when machines are OFF.

I would ping the ipaddress as ipscanner does not always pick up some devices

than I would uninstall the print driver and reinstall setting it up correctly and test

Re: Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw slow printing

Are you using WSD ports? WSD ports can stop communication altogether or slow it down to a crawl.
What devices are inline with the network cable? Surge suppressor, fax connection box, switch, router? Each device has rated network speed. If one of those devices is rated at 10MB communication will be very slow.
How about cables? I remember going out for a slow printing call, and the secretary had been rolling over the network cable with her chair for the last 5 years or so, and the cable was flattened. It wasn't very pretty. A new network cable fixed that one. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yep all sorts of weird calls
Had the cable one also the surge protector one
Also had bad switch causing scanner issue

                      Best guess with limited information

But sounds like he's on track to resolve it.

These are two different machines in the same building and on the same network and in different rooms. There are on IP addresses and not WSD drivers. KX drivers and did a new install and still have the issue. That is way am thinking a network issue? Maybe, maybe not?

Whether it's a network issue or not, you won't know until you check it. Like I said, I always do a continuous ping or you can connect a laptop directly to the printer.
