    Kyocera Ecosys P5021cdw Firmware

Hello all, I've been out of the copier repair business for nearly 10 years at this point and it looks like finding Kyocera firmware is impossible if you're not a tech and I ain't one anymore.

Just yesterday I picked up a free P5021cdw that had lines all across the prints. Nice little unit and easy to take apart and repair. The issue was that the transfer belt cleaning assembly was all packed up with rock hard toner. Got pretty covered in the stuff tearing it apart and chiseling out the old toner but it was a good time!

Anyhow, that bit wasn't important but I figured it would be fun to also update the firmware on my free printer. So if anyone would be willing to provide me with it, I would appreciate it so much! Thanks in advance!
Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
    O.o

Yep, an ok little machine in general, and to be honest, I don’t think you’d really need to bother with updating the firmware unless you wanna hook it up to PaperCut or something. As they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I was wondering while I had it apart if I could just get the cleaning assembly if I broke something. Good thing I didn't!

And I suppose I didn't think that I need to update the firmware exactly but more wanted to just for the fun of it and also in case they tweaked anything that would stop the transfer belt from clogging again in a FW update. Wishful thinking perhaps.
