    Kyocera Device Cloning ETC.

Do current Kyocera MFPs have any device cloning like Sharp and Ricoh do. Or is there a software tool I can use for the configuration of large numbers of devices like HPs WJA?

I can't think of anything and was just wondering if there are something out there I just don't know about?

    Re: Kyocera Device Cloning ETC.

For devices within the same family you can do a U917 backup to USB. This includes machine default settings, addressbook, job accounting, etc. You can then edit the backup files with Setup Tool (software), and convert it to the proper format for some other family machines.

    Keep in mind:
    1) each family uses different encryption, so it cannot be directly imported from a different family machine.
    2) even within the family, features like job accounting (with color and/or black & white permissions) will not directly import from a color to black & white or vice-versa.

It seems to me like Kyocera could have made this considerably more tech friendly. Perhaps as simple as publishing encryption codes, so this data could be assembled and edited as CSV files, then encrypting. Or no encryption at all. Obviously the engineers have never had to do an installation, and hand enter 500 addressbook entries. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        hallo
you can copy all user data like users, job accounting, address and others between different family with km-net viewer.
This is a SNMP freeware software you can find it on you cd-user or download it from kyocera site.
        bye
