Kyocera 420i System Menu username and password

Trying to get into System Menu to set up network info and it is asking for username and password.
I have tried 4200 and 4200, and every other combination including admin, admin00, no password etc.
Still keep getting Incorrect Password when I try to log in.
Is there a way to disable this or has it been changed from default and can it be changed back in sim mode?
Or will I need to do a memory reset?

Try with Admin/Admin (capital A is the key). If it doesn't work you should than reset it with U021, but keep in mind that reset will also wipe event log, so you should print it before, to have some insight into machine's history.

Thanks I reset it with sim 021
this was asking for a log in as soon as I hit the system menu button, after I reset it it only asked for log in when I entered interface settings and it was 4200 4200

Most likely you had a particularly anal local IT person that changed the machines administrator password. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
