Pantum is one of many brands, including Lexmark, that is owned by NineStar Corp of China.

The US Dept of Commerce has filed a trade ban against the importation of select brands and their products from NineStar based upon credible claims these products are manufactured and assembled using Uyghur forced labour in China aka unpaid slave labour.

NineStar has appealed the US gov't decision and failed.

NineStar has been deceptively trying to avoid this ban by using multiple shell companies not named in the ban to import product into the USA.

Lexmark is not directly accuse of this practice.

...there is a reason why Pantum printers are low cost and you have to decide if it is Ok to associate your business and your customer's businesses with an OEM accused of using slave labour.
