Device Manager NX Lite

I have the copiers set up, and can see the meters. However I can not see the individual user's meters.
I can open up the users section but nothing is listed. I did go into the copier itself and turn on the administration function that is required. After that I am lost.

What I am trying to accomplish is to be able to export the users meter usage into excel so my customer can bill his individual agents for color usage.
We can do this but with the old software package. (Smart Device Monitor for Admin I think is the name)

Not sure, but I think that it only reports jobs printed with user codes, but I may be mistaken.

I think that the operating word in the name is Lite. It is not a full function version as Smart Device Monitor for Admin was. You may have to fine an older driver disk that has Smart Device Manager on it.

I did a quick search and Smart Device Manager for Admin can still be downloaded from Softpedia.

Even though it is Lite it can perform everything.

Did you enable an authentication method?

Depending on the model(s) of MFDs, User code counters can be obtained from WebImageMonitor (WIM).

Access the MFD using a Web Browser, login as the administrator, then select Status/Information > Counter per User link. From there the user codes and their values are displayed and can be downloaded as a .csv file.

I think you need the Device Manager Accounting to read the user codes.

You can otain the user counter with the Lite version. With this version you have to pull the user counter in every machine individual. The diference is in the reporting.
Only the Accounting can generate a report with all the devices (for ex...)

I think that you can't do that with NX Lite. Try enter to the ip of the machine. Login as admin an then go to configuration page, an download the register (.csv exension). In this file you can see all the jobs an I think their users too. Use excel to convert text in colums and work whith.

Hi,

Just did it on Device manager. You can get the user counters of a single device or a group of device's. You just need to go to polling under device access. Very easy

Have you tried reading the documentation. The manuals folder from the download extract.
