Admin Password of MP2000Le

Hi, I what is the admin password of Aficio MP2000Le? Im trying to setup SMB but i cannot change the ip address because of the priviledge. I tried admin no password and supervisor no password but won't work, i also can't access it on web interface. I have done it in all MP2000 and working but not here in MP2000Le. Is there anything i should check or adjust? Thank you very much.

When you tried supervisor with no password, did it accept the login? Login as supervisor is for one thing and one thing only, changing the Administrator. So if you are able to log in ass supervisor, do so and change the admin password.

i was planning to fix the admin password but i wasn't able to login using supervisor no password, this is the 1st time i have encountered that cannot access the machine using supervisor. Can the supervisor login on MP2000Le be overwrite?

Yes, the supervisor password can be changed.

I've en-counted a similar problem to this on a Ricoh 725.

There is a chat on this site about code breaking the codes. I recommend you search for that and use it. It requires you to read the NVRAM and from you will be able to decode the Name and Password. That's how I did it.

Can you ping the IP address? If not, then you have a network problem.

Yes sir i can ping the ip address with good reply. By the way, the machine is in AutoDHCP, i can't change it to specify because of the privilege problem.

Reset all admin and supervisor passwords to factory default SP5846-046 in "factory service mode"
