Hi

Dose anyone know how to reset SP MODE. I changed some parameters in leading edges and side to side registration. I need to bring it back to factory setings.

I have seen it underneath adf platen pad or front door under jam and toner instructions

Generally one does not want to clear the machine settings (a memory 'all clear' or NVRAM initialization), especially on the colour units. You would definitely need the 'birth certificate' for recovery.

If it is just registrations, why not simply use the trimming area test pattern and adjust them accordingly?

I have a small but a big problem.

When printing a catalogue A4 on SRA3 the document is not in the centar of paper, all moved a little to left. Duplex side do not match.

on the left side is 2cm on the right side 2.2cm

on another side left is 1.9, right is 2.3

the centar doesn't match when I fold the paper.

Hi there!
Be careful & look at the specifications. The METIS is an office-machine, not a production-printer. A little help for adjusting is on the RTB-side of the LEO-prduction-machine. Under software / tools you find HDM DQV.. a good sample of prints also for adjusting front/rear-side printing.

Yes I know that this is office printer, but my Epson printet A3+ print on bout side with no problem. Espon printer is 250e.

If you want to change back those settings that you changed, print SP 5990-006 Non Defaults and find those items that you changed.

I'm graphic designer and photographer. So i bay this printer just for office and small printing. But i dont know how to center the duplex print.

Make sure in user tools that duplex margins are set to 0,
Otherwise the second side is shifted about 5mm from the front side.

If I pre-install a new machine in our workshop, then i adjust df and all trays the s2s reg, leading egde, trimming area etc. I think that's what most do.
The factory settings will not help really so much i think.
Start first with test patern trimming area for all trays. After that the df. Especially the scanner mode.
I scan into the document server or SD/usb stick to check the quality/alignment.

Interesting! I'm new in this game, so I will try to do test alone, if not I will call the company where I bought it, to send a repairman.
