[Misc] RICOH MP c3003 : gray line at 2,9 inch in the paper when i print from the bypass

    Hello, i have a Ricoh Mp C3003.
When i print thick paper from bypass it appears on the sheet a dark grey line at 2,9 inch from the top of the sheet.
The technician i have asked to, dont know what to do. He said it's a technical bug of this model of printer.
HAve you ever known something like this for Ricoh Mp c3003? And someone know how can i resolve this problem?
    Thank you very much!

Unfortunately there is no resolution for it. It's shock jitter from the PTR. I've run into this myself on a 2504 running 250, 280 and 300GSM paper.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Thank you very much for answer.
i have the problem on 250-300 gsm paper too(but occasionally also on 150 gsm).
My techinician said the same thing, that there is no resolution.
well I think it' s crazy because in the technical features of the printer they say paper 250-300 is ok!

Agreed, but unfortunately this machine is an office, black to colour MFP that in it's life will only normally see 80gsm paper, maybe the occasional letterhead. If you need to run media that thick, you need an MPC6503 or 8003.
