[Misc] MPC3503 Copier Mode Stapling works, but not when printing.

Good morning, dear colleagues in the ink and toner industry.
Recently, a customer called us at our workshop with the following incident. They bought the 2nd hand machine, and its operation is totally normal with any function in the "Copier Mode". The strange thing is that until today they had not noticed that when printing (and only when printing) "Does not staple", it is strange, since I checked that the finalizer (SR3140) was correctly indicated in the driver, and to rule out problems in the client's Computer, I did some tests with My Laptop that has Gnu-Linux (specifically Linux Mint), and the exact same thing happens. Regardless of the device's settings in the "Won't Staple" prints, has it ever happened to you?
"ALL WILL BE WELL" The battle cry that most inspires me to follow, from the DC's Comic character that I admire the most. And I feel satisfied with being better every day, and with using Gnu-Linux as my usual Operating System.Apologies for my English, it's not my mother tongue and I'm helping the translator.

try checking the weight of the paper on the machine settings, it could be set higher than 2, if I remember correctly it is the maximum.
However, it updates the firmware of both the machine and the finisher

This - I had a similar problem that was solved by updating both the machine and the finisher's firmware.

        Machine with the Latest Firmware

        Tests carried out: COPIER MODE
        - Different types of paper: Normal 80gr. / Medium Thickness / Thickness 1
        - In different cassettes
        Everything works without problem
        Tests carried out: PRINTER MODE
        - Different types of paper: Normal 80gr. / Medium Thickness / Thickness 1
        Does not staple.
        - In different cassettes
        Does not staple
        - Testing with OS different
        Does not staple

The only thing left to do is update the firmware of the finalizer, which I haven't had time to download.

Check the "command/controller" option you mention, and alternate between the different options and the response is the same when printing.

Right now I feel very deeply in the unknown.
Is there any SP that blocks device functions at the printing level?

at this point, I would proceed with the finisher firmware

I must be looking where it is not or simply does not exist.

I'm looking for the firmware for the finalized one and nothing appears on the website, they only appear for the machines.
