[Jamming] Inverter / Duplex Jam (J069)

    Model(s): MP 6503 / MP 7503 / MP 9003

Symptom: Paper would feed down into the duplex unit. The paper would be skewed between the inverter and duplex jogger fences. Machine would throw a jam code 69.

Cause: Over time, paper sliced a groove into the "Gate Pawl:Reverse" causing the paper to catch and skew the page. My machine count had around 3 million prints.

    Fix: Replace the Gate Pawl:Reverse
