According to the combined Product Support Guide released with the MP C2003/MP C2503, the fusing unit for the C2003/C2503 has a PM duty cycle of only 240K as opposed to 400K for the C3003 etc. I would say the C2003 fuser should not be used in the faster machines.

I know, and that makes sense but when I look on Precision Roller as well as GMS and DCC, they all only show 1 fuser for both models.
Maybe they have it listed wrong.

I just checked Precision Roller using their browser by machine and the part number they are showing is for the C3003. However is you use their search box and enter the C2003 part number, D1764005, it comes up with the proper part for the C2003 and shows it as only usable on the C2003/C2503. It does not show either as usable of the 45, 55 and 60 page models. you have to search D1504009 for that.

There you have it. I only searched by model (C2003) and part (fuser assembly) on PR.
          Thanks!

I know the difference between 3503 and 4503 is basicly just the wattage of the halogen lamp and some details of the housing. In case the wattage for the 2003 is even lower I wouldn't put it in the higher speed models because you probably would end in fuser/offset trouble.
