Most likely you have corrupted data on the HDD, or it is damaged.
I recommend that you turn on the device with the HDD disconnected from both its data power and power supply. And try turning on the device.
If the boot is "normal", we can rule out control board problems.

SC 672-00 is a communication error between operation panel and the controller after machine is powered on. Biggest cause over the years has been the USB cable between the controller and the operation panel, frequent just a loose connection at one end or the other. Could also be a defective controller PCB.

as a first indication I would look at the lighting condition of the row of LEDs on the controller board, for example: if they are all on, or all off it is bad! ... almost certainly the controller is gone
