Mp 4054 print only one copy of all

I have a 4054, which prints all the documents, but only in one copy, if you put quantity 3, only one sheet comes out. self
below the characteristics of the installation, and the tests I did

installation: driver distributed by windows server2019 in active directory on 10 pc
mp4054 full fw update

test:
reinstalled in local = run for 3 tests, then same
try unidriver & v4 (server and local)= NG
try mp3353 driver for test = NG same problem
create new ip port = NG
clear sp printer application = NG
try with my linux laptop with cross cable=OK
change with another mp4054 not fw update = NG

in the end i found that if i change the 1st tray (select auto to tray 1) everything works! but the trick doesn't work with tray 2,3,4.
do you have any ideas?
ricoh say me that try to change in user tool (fold rotate continueauto) but that doesn't work either

Is this meant to say turn on "rotate sort auto continue"?
This is in User tools / printer features/ System (I think)
It has resolved this issue on several machines for me

It's either that, or make sure you have at least one tray set to SEF (short edge first) and the machine will rotate sort every job automatically

Thanks, but my problem its that 2 identical mp4054 print only One Copy....from tray 2,3,4 After disable "autoselect paper tray" and put in tray 1, First print only One Copy
Also from tray 1

There is something that escapes me... I still can't understand!... it is impossible that both machines, have gone crazy in the same way, the machine, from the panel in printer mode, observing the jobs, displays the correct amount of sheets, but only one comes out

Is there any error message in the display?
In my case when this happened, I got "check paper size / type" ( or similar message)

So the machine literally just prints 1 page and stops without errors then?

That is strange.

Try all of the following.

Send the print job and then go to the printer screen ( Error log bottom right corner) and see if there are any job cancellations/errors and what codes they are

Under printer features > System
Page 1 Rotate Sort paper on
Auto continue OFF
Auto cancel conf. for PDL error Do not display
Auto cancel for Print jobs on error OFF
NEXT PAGE
Printer Language AUTO
Sub Paper Size AUTO
Paper Size 8/12 by 11
Tray setting priority ( Make sure Tray 1 / 2 / 3 are Machine settings)
Default Printer Lange PCL
Tray Switching ON

You also need to make sure under Paper tray settings it is Plain paper 1 selected as paper type for all. Also double check that the machine paper level detection and paper size automatically are correct.


I suspect machine is auto cancelling/failing to continue for some reason due to mismatch. If it gets going on Tray 1 then just something small you're missing.

Lastly if machine can't read paper size properly or cant detect remaining paper, remove all paper trays and inspect inside to see if paper stuck anywhere and if paper level sensors are stuck or not.

Recently I happened something similar in machines that do not have a finisher.
They had in the default configuration the option of "Classified" (image) and this forced to print / copy only 1 page, as if the machine was asked for a sample.

Turn off the option and the devices started doing the job completely, non-stop.

UPDATE: this morning i try the mp4054 ritired from client, and installed in laboratory with own lan, try from pc with fresh pcl6 driver on windows 10 and windows 7 and have same problem, if you leave "tray auto select" the 4054 print only 1 copy of job...now afternoon i try to recall ricoh italia...i hope of i well explained, if you print a job of 4 sheets, the machine do it, but if you want select more of 1 copy of this, she print only one copy

thanks, i try, but dont change in any case, at most she beep and ask me to select a correct tray from touch display
