    Ricoh P C311W web interface password

    On setup, we input a password for admin and we are able to access settings from the panel but the passwords do not work on the web image monitor. Does anyone know what the password might be? Ricoh tech support has no idea and have escalated to engineering. Might hear something in a few months lol. Any help would be greatfull.

      Try logging in to WIM as supervisor and change change the administrator password. FYI, the only thing that supervisor can do is modify the administrator credentials.

          What password did you use when you first set up the device? Are you sure you entered it correctly, they're case sensitive

                  I am currently working on two of these and when i set them up it asked to input a password. But on the web interface parts that ask for a password the one i created doesnt work. And after trying some things I discovered there is no password set for somethings. So if you just press the apply button it lets you in. I dont remember what the password was I created was for but apparently its not the administrator password.

                      You can always get into WIM as a user/visitor. But what you have access to see and change is limited. In fact you most likely won't be able to change anything.

                          I have access to everything. It's just that this web interface isn't like the normal Ricoh web interface.

                              Looks like it might be one of the entry level models not built by Ricoh. Are you trying to access WIM directly from your browser or are you using the Smart Organizing Monitor that is on the driver CD that came with the P C311W? You can also download the Drivers and Utility package from Ricoh-USA. New version released in January. P C311W Downloads | Ricoh Global
