print from android smartphone to Ricoh MP 5054

    Good evening,
how I can print from android smartphone to Ricoh MP 5054?
The smartphones are connected to the 192.168.222.XXX network while the Ricoh has the address 192.168.2.3
I can easily find the Ricoh from a Windows notebook connected to the 192.168.222.XXX network but I can't do the same thing from android, why?

        I just re-read your post.
Is it a typo that your Ricoh MFP and PC's are somehow connected to different network than your smartphones?
If not, then you'll need to get that sorted that out first

Yes, I have downloaded RICOH Smart Device Connector, but when I open the app it gives me this message: At the moment this app cannot use all the functions of the smart device. Change the settings on your smart device to allow the app to use all functions.

            It's not a typo.
            The wifi network is 192.168.222.XXX
            The wired network is 192.168.2.XXX
But from Windows notebooks (that hook up to the wifi network) I have no problem finding the Ricoh that is connected to the wired network.

To the best of my knowledge that won't work, but I'll wait for input from some of our IT experts - this is above my pay grade

It can work with the correct subnet mask and a few other tweaks, not common in a small office though.

As far as I know it won't work. All devices, especially Android and IOS need to be on the same network in order for the printing to work. Well that's as far as I know and as far as I've used the Ricoh connect app. You need to also remember a Windows or Apple laptop is not using the same operating system as your phone or tablet and therefore does not the same networking capabilities. Again, this is as far as I know

                  Give this a try
                  1) Try pinging the device from your phone. If you can't ping it, you can't connect to it

                  2) Try inputting the devices IP address into the Ricoh connect app. This might connect you directly to the device.

All the best friend and let us know if you get it work.

It should work providing that both IP addresses are coming from the same router/AP and it is setup to act as a bridge between both. Often requires the router admin to allow the MAC for each WiFi device limited access to wired devices.

Can the Android access the internet through the WiFi, there should be a setting to turn off. Try Settings - Connections -Mobile networks - Mobile data, or at least that is where it is on my Galaxy S22. If it is Off and you cannot access the internet, see my previous post.
