    Ricoh Streamline NX

Hello I’m hoping someone has an answer for me to get this machine functioning. I have a Ricoh MPC3004ex that’s stuck in a screen that states “starting Ricoh streamline nx please wait” unfortunately it is stuck in the screen and will not go away. It will not let me go into user tools or any other menus. I can see the login button but it only beeps when I push it off. The only thing I’m able to do is getting SP mode with the check status in the button on the side of the screen. Hopefully someone has been able to disable this. Thanks in advance.

I'm almost positive I've seen this before at my wholesaler, and I'm racking my brain to try and remember exactly what I did to get past it.

My first question is, have you waited long enough for it, and any background apps to load up before trying the login button? It might take up to 10 minutes after you see the screen?

Are you able to get into the screen SP mode using the Check status and Op panel buttons to bring up the keyboard?
Possibly it can be uninstalled in the App menu in there? (Although I doubt it). I think it needs to be done under extended features once it boots up.

How about Factory SP mode 5-846-046 to reset the admin credentials and then after waiting long enough maybe you can login?

      Just a few thoughts....good luck

Both types of installation are possible with this machine, Java installation or installation on the SOP.
If you can't find a JAVA installation, login to the SOP Service Mode to remove the APP from the SOP.

                Thank you for your help.
The solution was to restore factory settings in SOP: wipe data/factory reset, then update the package firmware and update the animation via romdata firmware.
