Hi friends, please help me to setup scan for Ricoh Aficio MP 2022 to windows 10 laptop.
I try smb cannot.

The Aficio 2022, product code B089, was introduced about 20 years ago. It is too old to support USB v2/v3. It is no longer supported by Ricoh. That means that drivers are not available for Windows from Ricoh. THe only possible solution is to scan to Document Server and use WIM to download it to your computer. Otherwise what you now have is a boat anchor or will be when some part fails. Replace the dinosaur.

Agreed with Slimslob. Replacement is the best way forward.

Perhaps you could try scan to email. That might work.

f I remember correctly it will only support Port 25 SMTP. Does nor support TLS/StartTLS that almost all email services now require for security.

While I Agree that the machine is well beyond it's expiry date, the poster specifically asked about FTP, but then makes no mention of trying.
Understanding that your location may make upgrading the machine a difficult task...
SMB is definitely a no go, but Security vulnerabilities aside, it can absolutely scan with Filezilla FTP server or another free option.
As for drivers.....you can print perfectly well using virtually any PCL 5e or 6 driver for any model you choose from the Ricoh download site.

It would be a good candidate for STunnel if they have to keep it.

Overall, that's a machine from a very different era. It's time outside of print and copy to move onto a modern device.

And one more thing is i can't login web image monitor
I try admin, administrator, Supervisor
But still cannot.

I believe the default on that old machine was
U/N: admin
P/W: admin

I don't recall if the supervisor credentials were used in those days.
Unfortunately I don't have the time or interest in giving a step by step tutorial on an FTP server. Try YouTube

That could be for the Ricoh Aficio models. It also might be ricoh. There was a time when for Ricoh Family Group lines (Gestetner. Savin, Lanier) it was savin. Savin was the main distributor for RFG. Default supervisor password might be the same. Of course it may have been changed. We had a couple of techs who when doing setup liked to change the admin password to the 3 or 4 digit model number.

I didn't use any password i just leave it empty

There was no supervisor account on these old machines. If I recall, the default credentials were no username and password as the password.
