[Misc] Ricoh pro c7200 background on gloss papers

    Morning techs
We have a ricoh proc7200 which which is giving background wherever gloss paper is used, it has done about 4000k plus prints.
Trying to sort out the issue we replaced most of pm parts, Drums OPCs ,ITB, cleaning units, charger units and developers.
When we try to do fiery Calibration it was NOT successful, even after general cleaning and replacement of recommended parts,
Anyone with an ideal what could cause the issue?.

Have you used the media identification tool to see which media in the paper catalogue matches the gloss paper you are using?

Most quality issues with glossy paper have to do with the fusing unit. Make sure that the paper being used clearly states on the package that it is for use in laser printers. Most are intended for use in ink jet printers ONLY. Some can even have their glossy coating melt and damage the fusing unit. Those that don't melt still require very precise fusing temperature settings. 2 or 3 degrees too high or too low can cause offsetting. Depending on the degree of offsetting it may only look like dirty background.

First go with face up and face down print to determine if the ptR unit is getting fuslty
second try to clean and replaace the potential sensor with another colour and see how it goes
thierd check the VR of the PCU if it above 150,you should replace it ,i believe there is an upgrade for it,

                      goooooooooooooooood luck
