Ricoh Aficio MP2000; errors SC545, SC542

Hi, need help here.

These two codes keep alternating; when I clear one code in service mode, the other one comes on and so on. I have checked out the fixing unit, cleaned the thermistors, but the cycle goes on.

Hi there!

Try and replace your thermistor, cleaning them does not always work.
If you still get the problem check your firmware there is a RTB out on SC 542 as I can remember. If that is all ok then you have a power supply problem I will say.

But keep checking the thread, the guys here are sharp and will sort you out.

This can't be that complicated. Check/replace the thermistors, fuser lamp and the thermo piles - these needs to get dashed against the wall/floor hardly if you like to reset them
