    Savin 2055 or Ricoh 551 SC 360

I have replaced the hard drive and BICU board also checked the 5 and 12 volts to HD are ok also check ground to frame they are ok, reflashed the firmware, performed a memory clear don't believe that took completely, reseated all cables. Still receive a 360 code, lost finisher and duplex function on control panel are grayed out due to not reading the hard drive. Would be very grateful for any ideas thanks.

you said you flashed the firmware-did you mean the rom on the bicu? Along with that If you swapped the rom out on the main boards that could be the indicator. Also formatting a swapped harddrive a must. Other than that I havent seen anything else that you havent tried.

There is a RTB about SC362 (which is basically the same as SC360).

Apparently when the main switch is turned on the response time of the 24v supply from PSU can be too slow and the machine calls a error.

So if all else fails I would give another PSU ago.

Was the hard drive an aftermarket?? If it was a much larger drive you may need to set the size limit jumper on the drive. The older legacy machines won't support the much larger drives without the size limit.
