Gestetner A045
We just recieved a Gestetner A045 from a supplier who cannot set up the machine for another few days... problem is we need to make copies! I have the whole thing set up but I cannot get the paper to load. I followed the instructions that come with the machine, but the machine never makes any noise or anything sounding like paper loading. Additionally, it keeps saying "load paper" on the display. I see a plug with a black and a white wire sticking out of the base of the machine... should this be plugged in somewhere to provide electrical power to the base of this machine? Any help would be awesome, as we really need to get some copies made for some impatient customers... TIA.

you are right with your suggestion, that the base needs to be connected to the body; there are two wires, first on the left side (if you are looking from behind), this is white/black and needs to be connected with the power supply bord, on the right side, there is a harness, which wants to be connected with the dc controller.If sometimes you feel a little useless, offended and depressed always remember that you were once the fastest and most victorious sperm of hundreds of millions! -
FYI, power it down before connecting the harnesses.Comment

You must enable also paper supply option with SP 1960 to 1 for roll feeder with 1 roll only, 2 for 2 rolls, 3 for 1 roll w/ paper cassette and 4 for 2 rolls w/ paper cassette.Comment
