Ricoh MPC 3000 touch screen callibration

I think I need to recalibrate the screen on this unit . I have not done this adjustment before . Can some one tell me how this is done ? The place where I press is out about 1/4 of a inch .

Clear modes,1,9,9,3, clear/stop (x5). This opens the self-diagnostic menu. Press "1" for touch screen calibration and follow instructions.
Having said that, these machines had a recall on the touch screen itself, so calibration may not hold up. If not, then you'll need to replace it (P/N B223 9900)

Attached is the Tech Bulletin in reference to fault Touch Panels and the replacement procedure. There is a no charge part number (B2239900) and a spare part number (B2231484). My understanding is that the no charge ones are still available and many were shipped automatically to most authorized service locations. Everything is explained in the Bulletin but I copied out the adjustment procedure from it and pasted it here.

Yep..use 1993 to calibrate the touch panel and order a new one and replace it anyways...best to be proactive on this one because you WILL get a return call for the same issue.
