Hi all a have Sc900 on Aficio 551, it is NVRAM! I changed NVRAM from other machine and now i have bad quality copy? what to do?

1. check out the service manual
2. don't use the NV-ram data upload/download feature of the service programm if you really have a faulty nv-ram (avoid restoring buggy data) so you should enter all data of the non-default/factory sheet manually
3. serial number can usually entered only with factory sp access

That's unfortunate..

Can you enter the SP mode if you install the faulty NV ram? In this case you have to write down all relevant SPs (scanner, paper/tray registrations, td/sensor values). You might can save some time of you find onother, working A551 and print out the non-default page - you shouldn't use the values of these but you'll know wich SPs are relevant to write down and wich not.
