I know there's a 'special forum' for this, but here goes nothing...

Part of your screen name is "Ricoh", and you don't even have the capacity to look up an SC Code?
Here's how this forum is supposed to work imho....
"I have this problem. I've looked it up in the manual and tried to do this, this, and that to fix it, but the problem remains. What else could it be"?

You'll find advice will flow like a river, if you've even taken the most basic of steps toward solving a problem on your own, but you haven't!
Until then, see the post above this one, and RTFM

I'm sure someone will come along with advice on the SC codes, but I'm just too frustrated right now

sc 672 try to check your RAM. if Ram have a problem this code will appear. if everything ok try to swap the controller board.

            sc 672

            1. Check the setting of SP5875-001. If the setting is set to "1 (OFF)", change it
            to "0 (OFF)".
            2. Check the condition of the controller board.
            3. Check the condition of the operation panel.
            4. Replace the controller board.
            5. Replace the operation panel.
            6. Turn the main switch off, wait for one second or more, and turn the main switch

RTB update firmware system/copy to at least 1.51.3

            5. Fixed: Jobs with a large number of pages might cause the device to
stall with a SC672 or SC687 error displayed on the panel.

SC580 - in all probability either one or both of the thermal fuses on the IH coil have gone open circuit (you can test this with a multimeter set to continuity test).

I can't remember ever replacing an inverter board for this code - mostly caused by the thermal fuses. Did manage to reset it once when I was in a pinch - it involves removing the rear metal cover and a little force with the handle end of a smallish screwdriver, until it resets. If they trip it could also point to a fault in the coil assembly, so replacement of the IH coil would be advisable if it trips again soon.

SC672 - controller stall - it fails to start up. Could be memory (like said above) or hard disk that failed. Disconnect the hard disk and see it it starts.

The modern Ricoh controllers fuction much like a pc. If the memory or hard disk is dicey - expect boot problems!

                Good luck!
