[Error Code] MPC 300 SC240

my machine MPC300 appears the code SC240 already tested the laser and the IPU board and continues to give the code SC240.
can help me thanks.

What do you mean by "testing the laser and the IPU-Board"?

The manual says that SC240 is an LD error K. Could be a bad LD-harness, a bad laser unit, or a bad BCU-Board.

check the wire harness near the lvps. had couple of machines where the wire there were rubbing.

Maybe try another K PCU unit before you go ordering expensive boards, These things can kick out some odd messages sometimes and lead you up the garden path.....

No do not solve the problem.But I look to test the BICU in another machine.

For me the problem was with the laser unit.Replace it with one from a defective SPC430 eventhough the p/n is different the unit is the same.

Interesting to see this. I saw some sort of alert mentioning that with either 240 or 241 to consider replacing the laser housing unit and the power supply together. No mention of boards being an issue.

Not like Ricoh has not been having some "wires rubbing on the frame" issues here lately.

I just helped another tech with a SC241. Didn't see any wire issues. Replaced the DC power supply and laser unit and machine was fine.

Old post I know! but I have a brand new laser unit for this MPC300/400 & also fits the SPC430, if anyone needs it let me know can ship worldwide.

A new laser will fix the SC240 error issue.

SC240 already tested the laser and the IPU board and continues to give the code SC240..

check harness of the (Bk) LD , could be disconnected or broken
