You cannot download the Ratio Plotbase software (which includes winprint and HDI drivers) from end user support.

This software comes supplied on CD along with the print controller.

XP drivers do not work on the older versions of the plotbase. If you save your file directly to the CFG folder on the plotbase server as a .plt file it will print.

you can download the latest version of plotbase from Ricoh TSC. It's ver3.7xx. However I still have issues with Vista on this version.

The real solution is to convince the customer to blow Vista off all their computers and re-install Win2K or Xp Pro. Since they will most likely not do that, you will have to find a workaround and I have no answer as I was retired before we started to encounter Vista boxes in wide format.

This is the work around. I got it from tech support before the current (read Vista suppoorted) version of plotbase came out. I've got a customer that's been using it successfully for the last 8-12 months.

I talked to my former colleague who still works on these. He confirmed that this is the best workaround. Vista and Server 2003 are highly problematic.
