Correct me if I'm wrong, but separate networks? I think you'd have just as much luck trying to send scans to the moon, no?
    so me?

    I would either:
1: Install a machine on "A" Network, or
    2: scan to email

You need to have a router between the two networks.

If both networks have routers connected to the internet, you will need to build a routing table on each router to direct traffic for addresses on the other network to the WAN side IP address of the other router.

          Hmm...so it is doable then.

Re: Ricoh MP 2510 NETWORK SCANNER PROBLEM

Sorry, but a class "A" network starts with 10.0.0.1 and a class "C" starts with 192.168.0.1

Nevertheless, most IT are recommending a save external drive on the network shared to all in both networks.
Find that drive and scan to it with different folders or ask their IT guy to figure out the subnet addresses to scan to both networks.

Chances are good that he will work with you more, because sub-addressing between class a and class c is a bitch.

If he set it up, he has the answers.

It is his network, force him to work with you or talk to his boss.
Most act like they are know it alls and hate to be taught.
If it is peer to peer, go ahead and test things.
Client server networks I won't touch without the administrator present and making changes himself.

Another Stupid People Day (rude ignorant IT people), so I am venting.

Stand your ground. No company wants an IT guy who isn't a team player.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Re: Ricoh MP 2510 NETWORK SCANNER PROBLEM

I would assume there is a very valid reason that there are two different networks. In all probability, they don't want network A to see network B, or vice versa.

Im sure they don't want anything to act as a bridge between them.

Scan to email is by far the easiest solution you will find; no point in introducing a potential security risk.
