Re: Ricoh Error Codes
Nice list. I did notice that it was dated April 2003. They are accurate for the older machines. Many of the newer machines may have different codes. A code may mean one thing on a B/W and something else on a color machine. Many problems on the newer machines are now as one main number such as 670 with a dash number to identify the exact problem. The best thing is to use Goose's Guide as a primary trouble shooting tool. For those not familiar with Ricoh fax machines, most do not use SC XXX. Instead they will be in the format of 0XXXh. Just take the 0 off the front and the h off the back then add SC in front. I have also encountered the person taking the service to miss understand what the caller is saying and put an 8 in place of the h.
