[Error Code] Sc 558 error code for ricoh c720

In the manuel, sc 558 it says the oil pump and motor need to be replaced but confused? Can it also be power going to the pumps?

Goose guide says to check for paper stuck in the oil application unit.

Oil Application Sub-Unit: Ass'y Part # D016 4480

In my parts catalog it's Fusing unit 6 item 13

It is a Sub Ass'y, inside the Fuser Ass'y

check it out and no paper jam inside and the roller is worn a lil will replace and now go to the next steps checking the oil pumps etc can you tell me what is the cleaner to remove the oil dark oil on the machine and on the walls of the machine please

also it says to replace the oil supply motor trying to locate that part also

Hey, sorry, I gave the wrong part number. That number was for the pumps, but for that code the motor number is G1781494

Those motors are pretty solid, so for that code i'd take a close look at the oil supply unit, those units cause a lot of problems.

no problem i found the diagram 3 drive section now im just trying to locate where is the drive section to check the if all connections are good

i replaced the oil stepper motor do i have to reset the codes anyway to clear problem because the code still comes up and will the error come up if the lines are clogged
