When I put the mains plug into the printer and press the green "On" button the printer starts up but the all three lights. the blue ECHO light, the Red cancel light and the green "on" button all start flashing together. When I then try and switch off by pressing the green button, nothing happens, all three lights continue to flash. The ONLY way to switch the printer off is to unplug the mains cable. Has anyone any ideas please?

Re: Samsung Colour laser printer CLP-365W
Do you get the same problem if you power on with no cartridges installed?
If you hold down the cancel button for a couple of seconds, with the toners installed it should start trying to print internal reports/test pages.
Diagnostic on these printers is done through a service tool, so is not something that is overly easy to figure out from light bleeps alone.Comment

Re: Samsung Colour laser printer CLP-365W
Thanks very much for your reply. Yes, I still get the same fault with or without the cartridges in place. In fact I still get the same problem when I have the drum, transfer belt and laser unit all out !!!!! I stripped the whole printer down and re-installed everything but still have the same problem. I think it must have something to do with software. Firmware? Unfortunately I can not get any help from Samsung /HP.Comment

If its not a consumable out flag, then you will need to get a copy of the service tool to do some diagnostics.
If the printer has a syncthru page you could try accessing that for alert information.Comment
