Sharp Network Scanner Tool

Hello.

Network Scanner Tool (NST) is a part of Sharpdesk.
Is it possible to install NST without Sharpdesk licence?
Do I need to buy licence to use Sharp MFP printer as a network scanner?
Can you recommend other scanner software which can be use with Sharps mfp for free like Sharpdesk Mobile which is free for mobile devices like phones?

need a license for sharpdesk/nst, most newer sharp mfp's come with sharpdesk with one license. NST can be installed without shardesk, just select custom install.
most Sharp mfps can scan using smb, ftp, and email without a license.
windows and Mac OSX have a ftp software , the ftp software needs to be "activated" on windows(IIS needs to be setup) and Mac OSX 10.6.8 and below you go into system preferences, file sharing for ftp and OSX 10.7 and above you need to turn it on via a command line in terminal.

Also a ftp program called FileZilla is very popular.

You can also use FileZilla-Server-0-9-53 from Download FileZilla_Server-0_9_53.exe Free - FileZilla Server 0.9.53 Beta install file. You don't need software key for filezilla.

I often use the scan to e-mail option using the customers ISP for the server. Seams every time that their computer is worked on the Sharpdesk doesn't work.

If you have sharp desktop 3.2, use the following key. 1234-123456-12345678. You can install it on more than 10 PC's. You can download sharp desktop 3.2 from www.gfive.net if you don't have one.
