MX-C300W screen hanging on startup (please wait)

Hello,

we have a sharp mx-c300w which doesn't start.
the web page is accessable and printing works as well.
the screen keeps hanging on please wait and does not come on the copy screen.
there is no button that is responding.
i replaced the mfp pwb without success.

Any idea if the firmware was updated recently? I have seen cases where cherry picked firmware and not complete updates can cause this. One other angle would be if the network is sending it a bad job?

Also may want to try a SD card or the HDD

the firmware is up to date

in this version there is no hdd or sd card

Sharps boot in this order:
MFP pwb
SD card
HDD.
If machine has an HDD unplug it and see if you can get it to error out with E7-03. If you can generate that code, MFP and SD are working properly.

FYI...

turned out to be the LCD PWB Unit
