MX-C407F (Lexmark XC4140) Prints blank pages

    MX-C407F (Lexmark XC4140) Prints blank pages

    We have a brand new out of the box MX-C407F that only prints blank pages. It does not matter if print or copy, color or black & white. When stopping the process in the middle of a job there is no image on the transfer belt or any of the drum units. Drum drive motors are turning (observed with side cover removed). We have tried another transfer belt, and image unit from another machine. We have also replaced the laser unit and main control board. At a dead end so any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

          Did you ever solve this problem? We just got our first unit from Sharp and it only makes blank copies/prints... Not a good sign for our first purchase as a Sharp dealer.

              It's not a Sharp product, rebadged Lexmark.

              Are you sure you removed all of the packing from inside of the printer?

                  We have looked over the machine 3 times at least and haven't found anything. Did get into printer diagnostics and both tests for the printhead come back failed quickly.

                      We had a few out of the box failures on the MX-C407F. None were blank pages though. Every solution was a new Control board per our service rep and it did resolve the problems.

                      We have unboxed 240 of the Lexmark version of this engine and never had a single one with a bad Control pwb.

                          We sent the machine back. Our Sharp RSS said to check the toner cartridge connector. I would check all the connectors for the wires that are in the wire harnesses that this wire runs with.

                              Our RSS was in yesterday and asked if we had any of these with blank pages. He told me there had been reports of this and it had something to do with the part circled in the pic. As far as I can tell from the Lexmark manual this thing flips a TPS cleaner when the toner door is closed. The model that replaces the XC4143 (MX-C407F) does not have this black elbow piece.
