[Error Code] Sharp MX-2615N Error f2-43

I'm about to lose what little of my hair I have left. I'm working on a Sharp MX-2615N, with an error code of F2-43, which is yellow toner density error. Sharp says to replace sensor, check harness connection, replace Developer unit, replace PCU board. I have replaced everything. New sensor, new developer unit, new pcu board, new harness, even flashed the ROM. I have run out of things to replace. Still the error persists. swapping both DV units (old and new) they both get the same error. When I run simulation 25-01, the yellow shows up at 91 on the TCS_Y and 255 on TSG_Y with the new DV unit. If I use the old one I get a level of TCS_Y of 57 and TSG_Y of 255. now on the old one I did try to add toner to it to see if it made a difference, after that didn't I decided to replace the DV Unit.

I've called my tech support that I have available to me and they said to swap DV units, (Yellow and magenta) which I can't do as they are keyed differently. Other than that they have no answers.

I am at my whit's end don't have any other ideas.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Assuming the sensor you said you replaced is the Toner Density Sensor (ATC Sensor) on the bottom of the DV unit, the next thing I would check would be the toner motor and the toner transport pipe between the toner cartridge and the DV unit

I'm feeling your pain. This code has not left me satisfied historically for Sharps.

I'll tell you what I have done. First thing I do is I replace the whole kit. New Drum/ Blade/ Charger and DV for Yellow, twice I've had to replace the DV unit itself.

But, when I do the kit I am vigilant of a few things, one, the toner pipe unit, can get clogged.
Two, that toner pipe unit has a sponge seal, that often breaks, and gets yellow toner everywhere. I would check that out too, by physically removing the unit, and cleaning it, and check for broken seals.

Three, end user forgot to shake toner cartridge, and the toner is not falling into the imaging units.
      (This happens, way too often)

Another thing is people always forget to calibrate the machine after service.

Don't forget the color calibrations after 25-2! They are very important!

      44-2/ 44-6/ 44-27/ 44-26/ 46-74 (Or 46-24).

      As well as LSU 61-13/ 61-11 L, M, D calibrations.

Other than that, there's been cases where... we've simply swapped the MFP's for another one because it's cheaper than paying me to go on site.

Like I said, I don't think I have ever been fully satisfied with the resolution of this code. I hope my advice, though not much, helps.

      Courage!

You can change the bottom bases on the developer units so they will go in another slot.

Hi there I have seen errors like this caused by Generic toners where the toner chip is faulty.
