AR-M450 PCL5e Staple Option Not Available When Printing

I have an office network printer/copier that is an AR-M450 PCL5e. Some individuals using the printer can select to have the output be stapled, but others don't have this option. How do I configure this? Thanks for your help!

The users who cannot use the finisher functions, have an incorrect PC Driver configuration. It has most likely defaulted back to the original settings (eg, without options fitted.... trays/desk, finisher etc etc).
Go into the driver properties on the server or the local PC's if no server, run the Auto Configuration button under the Configuration Tab. This will reset everything back to the right machine config.

Thanks, wazza. I couldn't remember the exact keystrokes.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If my memory surfs me right, ARM450 doesn't support auto configurations. You have to manually key-in the optionals. ARM455 does support auto configurations.

It does support Auto config IF you have the printer monitor installed which most people don't so.

            1) Go to printers and faxes, Right click properties
            2) Configuration Tab and start clicking the radio buttons and make the picture in the screen match the copier on the floor
(3 tray desk vs LCT. Mail bin Vs Finisher, Check off if you have saddle stich. All this information the config tab asks can be found from the list print on the machine. Key Ops, List Print, All custom settings list)
            3) Hit Apply and your laughing. If you have the LCT Trays make sure you change your printer defaults to go to the LCT instead of Tray 1
Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
