Konica Minolta Apple Mac Scanning Guide V1 0.pdf

I know this is for Konica Minoltas, but at least it gives you an idea of how to setup the Mac and then everything else from your machine should be the same as scanning to a Windows files share.

Now, if you are trying to scan to OSX 10.7, then you are out of luck as the SAMBA protocol within 10.7 has changed and you will find that just about all copiers aren't compatible with this.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

One small gotcha: If you are using the Mac's hostname instead of IP address in your SMB path (either is fine), the maximum number of characters is 15.

It took me a day or so to figure that one out an account last year.

It wasn't that had back when I did it on a Konica. I just ended up googling "scan to smb 10.5" or whatever version of the OS I was on. Found an answer pretty quick and I was pretty surprized how easy it was to do.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
