sharp ar-m450 E6-11, E6-14 codes when using the spf.

I am working on a ar-m450 and am having troubles when using the spf. I have preformed a sim 63-2, cleaned the white reference sheet, reseated all the conectors to the mfp board and still the mfp will say waiting when I put paper in the spf and will not 2- side scan. Do I need to replace the CIS board? Any other suggestions?

both codes realted to the cis and the scanner pwb.

see if your second side cis lights up, if so may be the scanner pwb

Thank you, I will test the CIS unit to see if it lights up. I also would like to make a correction, I meant scanner control pwb, not the mfp.

I reseated the harness and flat cable, I ran a simulation 5-3 and still no CIS lamp on. I will place a document in the feeder and single side will scan good. If I press 2 sided scan the mfp tells me that the b\w scan module is out of service. The stange thing is the customer told me that after they scan multiple documents, then use the glass, the mfp just says waiting and nothing will happen. Unfortunately, I don't have any boards to swap and try. Any ideas?

You were advised to replace flat harness cable and scan pwb, but you only reseated. Try replacing the harness cable as advised and see if it resolves your issue. If it doesn't, your problem is very likely the scan control pwb and you'll need to either figure out how to get a replacement, or sell your customer a new machine.

Good night, this issue the most probably cause is the harness cable, like some friends above sugested.

Especially if it is one of the early versions where it makes a hard U-turn into the feeder cover, the later release of the feeder cover has the harness hole in a more forgiving location and is LESS prone to failure.
