    Primary Transfer Belt replaced

    Question.

I've replaced a belt after it was chewed up into 50 small pieces... now the new belt sounds like it isn't turning.. How can this be checked?? I think that's why the old one is in pieces... and ideas??

    Thanks

Put a small felt tip mark along the edge of belt, see if it moves. The main drive gear is a likely choice if belt doesn't move.

Do you know what model Sharp? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

As said, check your primary transfer drive gear. That is usually the primary cause of belts not turning on that series, the alternative is you didn't put starting powder on your belt and you flipped the cleaning blade.

This can also be caused by worn drums that are not rotating properly (usually a flipped blade in the drum).

Seen this issue more with the jupiter series then your model but, worth a check.

Yes on this model be sure to use the proper powder when replacing the belt

Titanium Hydroxide (UKOG-0321FCZZ) then after running the belt for a few minutes use Strontium Titanate (UKOG-0316FCZZ)

Is there any copy quality issue? Just wondering why you think your belt may not be working.
