Hi guys. I have an toshiba estudio 450 that worked fine the other day and this morning it gave me error code c010. Usually, is it the main motor assy or what else should i check?

Re: toshiba estudio 450 - c010
As above, check for tight fuser or developer units.
The motor can also wear and become weak.
If it has a bridge unit you can try removing the bridge unit/finisher, the bridge is driven by the fuser from memory, this creates extra load on the main motor.Comment

Re: toshiba estudio 450 - c010
The last time I worked on this issue it was caused by a seized developing unit. By the time I had returned with the dev unit, it had taken out two the gears in the main drive pack.
If the developing unit is seizing you'll see piles of developer in the back of the main body, and it will be very difficult to turn by hand.
Watch for the piles of loose developer. That will be a good clue. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
