Hi everyone! I have error c010 to toshiba e studio 452! I was trying almost everything, replace main motor, check all gears, check developer unit, drum unit and fuser, everything its ok.
Main drive pack is hard to turn, especially developer drive gears and clutch. Clean and lubricate main drive pack.
Drive components all turn freely. Failed main drive motor. Replace main drive motor (6LA62281000).
Six accordian jams in the fuser (not removed) stalls the main motor drive. Worn heat roller, broken fuser claws, and worn exit roller exacerbates problem. Rebuild fuser unit (6LE82806000), and exit roller (6LA65821000).
Why are you wasting your time? You know that most parts are no longer available? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
This has always been the Developer Drive motor for me.. the problem is likely too much drag on the system, but for lack of time pulling everything apart, I've always just replaced the motor. The cause is likely that it's too much drag coming from the lousy Developer Units locking up, at least that's my opinion.
