    Toshiba Estudio 287 csl code c020

    Good Afternoon , I got a service call 1st time in months this customer found my card or info somewhere. When I get to the account he has a 287 csi with a C020 code that keeps popping up after initializing I dont here the motor run . I opened up the unit and to my surprise it looks like and old OKI 600 printer, what the heck lets fix it need some gas money. The code appears to be a main drive malfunction,checked out the fuser it turns, found a spider skeleton inside all the drums turn a bit and transfer belt no reason to bind up on anything, Can I get a Hint here I seem to be loosing my copier fixer anointing!

      C020 is a drum motor lockup. Just determine which drum won't turn, than replace that unit, if you can get one. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          ... you have to replace both the drum and the toner. Turn the power off, put both units in and cross your fingers it works.

          Most Toshiba dealers are eager to get this discontinued copier out of their service base. The Oki toner/ drum system is just too prone to new consumables being unrecognized.
