Toshiba-6516ac First page prints blue background

Posting for a friend. He has a 6516ac that will print faxes, or b & w prints, or internal prints that randomly print with a cyan background. He's checked grids, and drums, and said nothing appears to be wrong. The last thing he is trying is swapping magenta and cyan drum units, but he was leaving the call open to return. Attaching a sample he sent me

What about copies from the ADF/glass?
I know this will sound strange, but I've had some really goofy issues, off glass ok, ADF black,
ADF blank, off glass ok. It ended up being the memory on the system board. When I swapped
them, the display wouldn't even come on. After replacing it, then holding down the energy save
button & powering back on, problems disappeared.
Could also be a laser issue too.

Since there's no cyan void, I'd suspect a primary charge issue either the primary charge unit or the drum in the cyan slot. If it was an image processing issue you would have an image void. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I spoke with Mike again, he corrected my previous post. He said it happens only when printing, not with copies or faxes. He said when the customer is printing out emails they get this problem. and it apparently does it with internal prints as well.

He did tell me that he swapped magenta and cyan drum, he just told me that made no difference, with the possible result he said the problem is getting worse.
