[Error Code] TOSHIBA e-studio 2505ac F090 error code

    Hi guys,

I managed to recover a TOSHIBA copier that nobody wanted anymore due to my company's failure. I'm going to use this copier for my wife, who is a teacher and doesn't have access to color copies at her school. Due to some random manipulations to activate the Wi-Fi, I completely corrupted the system. I managed to find (for free...) a firmware, but now the copier is displaying error code F090. Could a kind soul (since the use of this copier will be 97% for the school, 1% to print coloring pages for my daughter, and 2% for my children who are students) please indicate the procedure to make the copier functional again ?

I am not asking for software or firmware, just some time to describe a procedure to be able to use this machine again.

Thanks to people who are willing to help.

For others, please do not pollute this thread with comments that do not contribute to the situation.

Thank you for this quick response. I saw this while surfing but there's no keyboard on my machine. Do I have to have one to perform the following operations?

      Classification Contents
Circuit related service call SRAM abnormality on the SYS board
      Check Item Measure
SRAM 1. Check that the SRAM is installed properly.

      2. Shut down the equipment.

      3. Perform [FS-08].<= is this equivalent to pressing the "home" and "start" keys ? because I don't have a numeric keypad on my copier.<=where can i find this serial number ?

Thank you for yourhelp and your cooperation

Keyboard not needed, machine has built in, when needed

FS = Function clear (yellow button) and start (green button)

Serial number is located typically in 2 placed. Silver sticker on the back
and a white sticker on the frame, inside the front door on the right
it will be in this manner XXXX12345 (four letters, five numbers)

My guess is that this machine was a lease return. And before the machine was returned, the system board or SRAM were "borrowed" to fix another machine.

Follow the procedure above to fix. You may need to reload firmware when you're done. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              Hi guys,

I applied your recommendations to the letter and after the various manipulations, the copier displayed an F111 error.

This is a problem with the scanner. So I unplugged everything because I don't need this function and the copier started normally.

However, when I browse the menu, the Wifi icon is greyed out. I can't activate it, even by switching to administrator with the code 123456.

I disassembled the casing and the WiFi card is present and connected.

Do you have any tips on how to activate the WiFi? I need it because the copier is in the garage and I can't run an ethernet cable from the living room to the garage.

Thank you for your help and happy May 1st.

It's very possible that whichever firmware you've applied to the machine is too old and does not support the USB WiFi module. That would also potentially be the cause of your F090 and F111 errors as firmware version mismatch between the different components can cause corruption and communication issues.

Hello everyone, below are the photos of the firmware versions installed on the copier, can you tell me if they support the wifi card? If not, can you tell me which firmware versions support Wi-Fi ?

(right click on the picture and select "open image in new tab" to see the real picture size).

Tahnk you for your help guys.

1800 is pretty recent firmware (latest is 1900) so I don't think that's the issue. It's more likely to be something physical like a cable not seated properly or faulty hardware, there's no special settings for the wifi option it's plug and play.
