Toshiba e-Studio File Downloader on Mac OSX LION

Hi guys......We've been working on windows machine for quite some time but have never done any on the Mac OS systems.

There's this one customer, using e-studio 350. We've manage to settle the printing part. However, we are now trying to get the studio File Downloader to install and work.

From what I see here, Drivers | Support | Toshiba Copiers , studio 352 has an additional features file.
    Code:
Macintosh OSX Driver 10.4 thru 10.6 Additional Features. This provides the addition of e-Filing and Watermark functionality.
Just wondering if anyone have done this or know the steps to enable the customer to scan? We dont have a Mac here to try, unfortunately . Only at customer's place.

    Thanks for your help!

Also, you can try contacting Apple. I once had a problem with a Kyocera machine not work in Snow Leopard. After I contacted Apple they helped me get the drivers squared away. Aside from Apple, plead with Toshiba for help. Good Luck!!

The e350/e352 are long ago discontinued products. File Downloader is a Windows only product. The chances of this working with Apple's just released OSX 10.7 Lion are Zero. I am having troubles getting Toshiba's latest eBX product to work with 10.7.

Try and find a GM2010 Print/Scan kit or GM3010 Scan kit on eBay so that you can direct scan via SMB or Email. Forget File Downloader.

Actually, Toshiba driver 2.07 for Macs does work with OSX 10.7--sort of. You have to reboot the copier every time you get an error message (waste bin full, paper tray empty) to clear the error.

          Yeah, as SalesServiceGuy said.

While the drivers that you installed do somewhat work, they aren't supported.

On the Australian Toshiba Website, the furthest Mac OS that was support for the eS350 was 10.3 and the eS352 was 10.6. Installing 10.6 drivers can work, but you are likely to run into issues.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Alternatively, u can try scan to email and scan to file (remote), very convenient, but need some setup.
U can also try scan to fileshare, use the lion to access the SMB fileshare folder of the MFP.

Lion has changed how Apple does smb (samba) scanning. There are work arounds but nothing concrete as of yet. Apple forums have these work arounds.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!
