Toshiba E-Studio 160 windows 7 drivers, is it possible to print with parallel cable?

i have a parallel to usb cable, when i find windows drivers for toshiba e-studio 160 is it possible to use that cable?

drivers are not on the official toshiba web side, and it doesn't seem to work with winxp drivers

XP drivers definately wont work as there is a huge difference in the Kernal between XP and Windows 7.

Windows Vista on the other hand has the same Kernal as Windows 7, but 7 is just more refined. You will have to have the GA-1031 installed so that you can use the Vista drivers and from memory, with that controller installed the Parallel Port was then cabled into the controller so you should be able to use the Parallel port.

Anyone got clarification on that last bit as my memory is a bit fuzzy on these machines?

My Machine is GD not GA-1031, i installed GD for vista and still doesn't work. You are recommending that i use GA?
