08-690 Format the HDD. Then do a 08-1119 to clear the RAM.

The users have probably been improperly turning the copier on/off via the hard switch which has caused the HDD to become corrupted. The users need to use the proper shut down sequence from the LCD to gently power down the copier.

You should update the firmware to V355 while you are there.

Also check the toner to see if it's very low or empty. I have that firmware if needed

Bad thermistors will cause those symptoms. I've replaced several on e350 series and e281c series because of that exact problem.
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

Maybe you'd get better help if you weren't so rude! To imply that members of this forum are somehow responsible for solving all your problems is incredibly arrogant. We don't get paid to post here, and we expect those who participate in these forum discussions to be respectful and knowledgeable about the products they work on. This is not a site for untrained end users who have never looked in a Service Manual before posting. Take the advice from other techs for what it is: advice, not solicited solutions from a company. That type of approach will NOT work here and you will eventually find that people will have no desire to help you in the future.
