    e-studio 287CS Printing on Win7

I have an e-studio 287CS which is working fine. I just got 4 new Windows 7 Pro machines. I have installed the latest driver from Toshiba on the PC and everything seems to work and print fine for the first day or so. Then randomly the application will hang that I try to print from. For example Internet Explorer, Outlook, etc.... I can close out of the application but can't print to the copier anymore. A restart fixes it and allows me to print again but only for the first few times and then it hangs again. I tried the most recent driver and the previous one of the PCL universal. I also tried the post script driver. I have no problems printing from Windows XP machines.

Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

You will probably find that your machine is running an old version of firmware and needs updating.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Sounds to me like the Win7 machines are setup with a WSD port instead of TCP/IP. Go to printer properties and check the port. If it is a WSD port add a TCP/IP port for the machine ip address and apply it to the driver.
