    [Error Code] WorkCentre 7428 Fault/Error 116-324

    Dear all,

I need your help regarding error on WC7428, I'll try to explain what happened,
The device is reset for a moment by himself and no longer wanted to boot a system error 116-324 occurs and it stuck. I suspect the problem with the hard drive.
My question is whether the system can be cloned from another of the same device and put it on a new hard disk, whether it will work or what other steps.

Thank you in advance and best regards,
    Darko

from WC 123 manual. Usually the error code shows the same information.

116-324 System Detected An Error RAP
    Unusual CPU processing occurred.
    Initial Actions
    Refer to BSD 16.1.
    Power OFF/ON
    Procedure
Pull out and insert or replace the DIMM (PL 9.2).
Replace the ESS PWB (PL 9.2).

I guess you can try cleaning the DIMM (RAM) using contact cleaner.

If you think it is HDD problem, try swap the HDD.
    Hope it helps

try to use special boot method - SPOOL reset for corupt print job
-remove network cabl and POWER OFF the copier
      - with network cabl off, power on the copier while you are holding ( 6 , STOP and POWER SAVE ) keys until your copier is ready

Try to make a copy from any tray
Connect network card back and try to send next print job ( not the same job as before )

        Hi mate,

        Thank you for replay,
I tried following your instructions but doesn't work, the same happens and now I have another number of error message: 116-331
        WP_20161103_21_22_07_Pro.jpg
Do you know what that means?

I have two of the same machine and I checked HDD replacement parts, correct it, check memory, also correctly,
Can I change cards with EPRROM and card with battery, that does is safe because I'm afraid it does not spoil the correct machine?
When replace the entire drawer board with complete electronics, device works correct.

Thank you in advance and best regards,
        Darko

          I checked the manual,
you should try to do hdd initialization.

          special boot procedure
          1. power off machine.
          2. hold down 4, stop and power save button
          3. power on the machine while holding those buttons.
          4. release the button after the machine is ready.

          hope this helps

            Hi mate,

Today I tried your key combination, the same is happening and same error, 116-324, any other advice?

Do you have a list of key combinations for various functions?

            Regards,
            Darko
