    Hi ,
    This is my first post in this forum - HelloWorld!
    I go some WorkCentre 7125 on offices. They are all just connected to windwos print server and Work just fine ...

    I am originally trying to disable the Smart eSolution, and my printers doesnt have internet access, and I want to disable the error message I get on the display, as it really isnt an error ... But users get confused about it.

    I understand I need to do this via the embedded web agent called CWIS - short for CentreWare Internet Service.
    I can acces the webpage on but when I click on PROPERTIES and gets pormpted for username/pass, I cant login.
    Funny part is, that I do actually KNOW the password, and I can login via the printers front panel !

    Go figure ..

    How can I reset the CWIS user/pw or how can I disable Smart Esolution `to not enrolled ?

    please advise, and please explain, as this will be my first time here, but I am a tech-dude allthough .,..

      While we wait for smarter people to show up, I do have a suggestion you may wish to consider -
      If I remember correctly, the user name and password for Admin mode in CentreWare should be the same as you use to get into Admin mode from the machine's op panel.
      I don't have a PWS anymore, so that's the best I can do.
      Sorry if that was a waste of time.

          Thanks for your reply.
          This is just what I try, but with no success.
          Eventhough I can successfully login into the printers panel, I cant use the same credentials for the CWIS login.
          I am not sure if this is faulty/buggy, or if its evenpossible to have seperate credentials.

          If I take another angle at this; Who can I reset the CWIS password or even the software ?
          Or can I edit the SmarteSolution setting from the panel ?

              Admin and CentreWare password should be the same. Try reset password from service mode and then use new password to login. I am not sure if it helps but it's worth to try.
              Also input default admin password and then try.

                  After 3 wrong user/pass you need restart.
                  For 712x family you can reset pass from service mode.
                  For 722x you need Xerox support.
                  Use sag (system admin guide) 712x for correct user/admin in cwis.
